If you have a little imagination, then the task will have the enormous air, almost impossible: there is such an amount of work to realize, by where to start? We will thus need a plan, to build a diary in order to cut out all that in sections and surmountable stages. And for that, our best friend is of course the organisor!

In this article, I thus will speak to you about my system of organization, which has its defects and qualities, but which I hope for it, will give you ideas and will help to advance the schmilblick…

The book Getting Things GivesThe news fell this afternoon on the forum GTD-Fr : the book worship on the personal organization Getting Things Done will be available in French from here next March to the LeDuc editions.

The title of this work: “To organize itself to succeed”. Not what to whip a cat but it is simple and conci, with the image of the English title.

According to Jupiter, the author of the news, information emanates directly from the company of David Allen, in answer to his email.

Then will Getting Things Done make a paperboard among French-speaking people? Appointment in 2 months!

Of what will have the air the organisor of the future?

Which will be the evolution of Personal Information Manager?Being given the flood of information to which one has access since the advent of Internet, it becomes increasingly important for each one to use a management software of the personal informations or Personal Information Manager (PIM).

This type of software is generally composed of several modules which make it possible to manage the emails, the lists of things to be made, the appointments as well as the personal notes. Most known are Outlook, Lotus Notes or Essential PIM. In fact software wants to be all-in-a but one is often obliged to use certain software separated for complémenter their functionalities.

The goal of this article is to gather the characteristics of the current software to imagine what would be the PIM of the future: that which would enable us to organize ourselves in an intuitive and effective way to obtain the maximum of our base of personal informations.

Let us give him already a name with this software, why not Perfect PIM?

For me, Perfect PIM would be the marriage successful between 7 software which I currently use in an intensive way:

  • EssentialPIM for the management of the notes and the calendar
  • Gmail for the emails
  • MindManager/FreeMind for the mental charts
  • Website Watcher for the aspiration of files Web and the day before
  • Zoundry for the edition of articles of blog perhaps [some will find this choice strange but I remain persuaded that in the future, each one will have its blog]
  • Tudumo for the management of the tasks
  • SciRal Consistency for the recurring tasks

Here what would be its main features:

Things: a very promising todo-list

Things: a powerful todo list for Mac

The author of Tudumo recently made me discover a video very interesting showing the possibilities of Things: a todo innovative list which follows method GTD under MAC.

I noted several innovations compared to Tudumo:

  • the logbook: it is a history of the finished tasks. When you do not want to see any more the tasks which you notched, it is enough to make them slip into the logbook.
  • areas: they are kinds of spheres of activity which include several projects and tasks.
  • the management of the tasks of the day: one slips there all the tasks which one intends to carry out today. Personally, under Tudumo, I use the same approach thanks to a tag! today.
  • hierarchical tags: one can give a name to a whole of tags, for example “context” for the tags @home, @work,… It is possible also to filter according to this whole of tags.

An adhesive which does not stick to create your clean post-its

The adhesive which does not stickDid you know that there exists adhesive with post-its?

If you have some enough of the yellow and square post-its, you will be able thus to stick and at will take off your personal notes and other objects without leaving of trace. It is enough to apply a fine layer to the back and the turn is played.

Here perhaps a good way of pushing those which kept a heart of child to be organized more effectively.

According to Lifehacker.com, you will find also this kind of accessory for the equivalent of 2 dollars under the Scotch mark.
