Here an article written at the time of the edition of the Festival With Crossed of Blogs of this month. Is the topic How to survive a desperate plight? , inspired of the current financial crisis which makes us plunge slowly but surely in a world economic crisis. He yes, us here in beautiful cloths, the crisis points the end of its nose and already more one in a difficult situation plunges from there. Then should this fate be accepted? Does one need morfondre in the torpor while the storm passes? Initially, let us cease dramatizing: much among us, me including, let us cross one period ostentation. Abundance is always there, but in other forms. For you to persuade and help you to relativize (if need be) I would like to reconsider the concept even of fate.
I believe deeply that fate is an increasingly rare thing nowadays. And to leave there, it is more often a question of knowing to be caught in hand than chance. Science is for much in the improvement of our fate, and it gives a choice increasingly broader in the manner of regulating our daily concern. I recently read a signal of the 10 discovered science which influenced us more these last years, here:
The six hats of the reflexion is a method which facilitates the solution to problem and decision making within a team. Published in 1985 by Edward de Bono in the book of the same name, it has since conqui many professionals.
One of its most enthusiastic members was Mr Hisushi Shinto, the former leader of the immense Japanese conglomerate of telecommunications: NTT (Japanese Telephone and Telegraph). This famous directing named businessman of the year in 1996 made apply the method to its decision makers and noted a very beneficial effect on their way of thinking. The discussions appeared much more constructive, more positive, and the participants were much more inclined to discuss the ideas instead of sitting down in silence by taking care to avoid any error.
This method is very simple to implement, while remaining very effective. The idea is to imagine hats which one can put on or remove at will and which force their carrier with a certain way of thinking. One can also ask another person or a group to take off or put on a hat in particular.
The author of Tudumo recently made me discover a video very interesting showing the possibilities of Things: a todo innovative list which follows methodGTD under MAC.
I noted several innovations compared to Tudumo:
the logbook: it is a history of the finished tasks. When you do not want to see any more the tasks which you notched, it is enough to make them slip into the logbook.
areas: they are kinds of spheres of activity which include several projects and tasks.
the management of the tasks of the day: one slips there all the tasks which one intends to carry out today. Personally, under Tudumo, I use the same approach thanks to a tag! today.
hierarchical tags: one can give a name to a whole of tags, for example context for the tags @home, @work, It is possible also to filter according to this whole of tags.
